Summerfest Announces Headliners on the Mid-Gate Stage at the Potawatomi Pavilion

MILWAUKEE – May 15, 2009 – Summerfest officials have released yet another list of headlining entertainment for Summerfest 2009. The Mid-Gate Stage at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino Pavilion with Miller High Life and 88Nine RadioMilwaukee will once again bring an eclectic lineup to this year’s festival. New in 2009, Summerfest is excited to announce that 88Nine RadioMilwaukee, will join Miller High Life as an associate sponsor. The Mid-Gate Stage at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino Pavilion with Miller High Life and 88Nine RadioMilwaukee will offer country, rock n’ roll, impersonators and more! Williams June 25 - 10:00 pm - Lee Rocker June 26 - 10:00 pm - Buckwheat Zydeco June 27 - 10:00 pm - Cowboy Mouth June 28 - 9:00 pm - TBA June 29 - 10:00 pm - Greg Koch and Other Bad Men June 30 - 9:00 pm - Willy Porter July 1 - 9:00 pm - Red Bull Beat Sessions featuring Derrick Carter July 2 - 10:00 pm - Red Bull Beat Sessions featuring Richie Hawtin July 3 - 9:00 pm - Country Showcase – Caitlin & Will July 4 - 5:30 & 10:00 pm - American Icon – The Show, featuring Celebrity Impersonators including Ryan Pelton as Elvis July 5 - 5:30 & 8:00 pm - American Icon – The Show, featuring Celebrity Impersonators including Dean Simmons as Garth Brooks All performers and show times are subject to change. Summerfest 2009 will take place June 25 – July 5 from noon until midnight daily. The World’s Largest Music Festival and Milwaukee’s cornerstone summer celebration attracts the music industry’s hottest stars, emerging talent and local favorites. The Marcus Amphitheater and 10 additional stages, along with a diverse selection of food and beverage vendors, marketplaces and interactive exhibits, are set against the Lake Michigan and downtown backdrops, creating a festival experience like no other.
